Limerick Cycling Tours
Our Limerick Cycling Tours are a fun and easy paced way to explore Limerick City. As you pedal through the city streets, feast your eyes on the many historical and iconic attractions including St. Mary’s Cathedral, the Hunt Museum, The Treaty Stone and, of course, the mighty King John’s Castle.
Our quality bikes are suitable for all ages and experience and, as much as we can, we keep to cycle lanes and riverbanks to avoid traffic.
Learn to Kayak
for 5 Weeks
Ages 16 to 66 take part in this Kayak Course that runs from 18:30 to 21:00 over 5 evenings, 1 evening per week. Our Learn to Kayak Courses give you the training required to kayak safely and competently on flat water Grade II Rivers, as a member of a group being led, and to assist in basic rescues.
Whitewater Kayak Trip
Join us on an adventure down the flowing waters of the river Shannon as we navigate the river as it passes the village of Castleconnell. Our experienced instructors will encourage you to challenge yourself within the safe environment their presence provides. This is a great trip to introduce you to whitewater kayaking.
Country to City Kayak Trip
Join us on a relaxing paddle from the placid Shannon Fields on the outskirts of Limerick into the heart of the city. This is a great way to view parts of Limerick you may have never seen as we paddle by the old Corbally Baths and past the ancient Lax Weir. There are also amazing views of Thomond Park before we travel under Thomond Bridge alongside the walls of King John’s Castle and on into Limerick City.
Night Time Kayak Tour
Join us for an atmospheric tour of Limerick from the River Shannon under the stars & city lights. Departing from Limerick Boat Club we take you upriver past the ancient sites of Viking settlers and Norman conquerors. Telling you the some of the stories of the ancient Treaty City as the sounds of the city’s nightlife drift across the water.
